Substantial site work & ground-up construction of self-storage facility

Our project team rose to the occasion to complete this 103,000 SF ground-up self-storage facility in Tiverton, Rhode Island. The project was not without obstacles – it required blasting and excavating several acres to clear the plot and prepare for the building’s foundation and underground utilities. Our team meticulously planned and coordinated to clear the densely wooded project site and remove several large boulders to meet building grades.

The new building was prefabricated and designed with a non-traditional load-bearing steel frame wall system. Timberline placed the foundation, slabs and grade beams, built out the locker packages, placed the panelized brick system for the towers, installed the roof and completed exterior detailing. After the extensive work our team did to prepare the plot, all new MEP services could be brought to the site and installed in the building.
