MAJOR RENOVATIONS TO FULLY-OCCUPIED ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY SPACE

A leading designer, developer and global supplier of semiconductor connectivity solutions, Broadcom embarked on a complete renovation at its Andover location to accommodate the organization’s evolving needs. The program included state-of-the-art electronic labs, server room, testing areas, AV-enabled conference rooms, huddle rooms, a bright and lively employee community room and a welcoming reception area. The results are a sleek and contemporary workspace and a unique work environment.

To support the infrastructure-intensive requirements of the labs and computer rooms, Timberline installed a new 24/7 cooling system and rooftop units tied into the building’s existing system. A compressed air system was mounted on a custom rack on the rooftop to feed the new lab bench areas. Timberline completed this work off-hours and within brief windows of time minimizing disruption to Broadcom’s employees in addition to the multiple tenants in this fully-occupied building.
