LABORATORY RENOVATIONS FOR LEADING SPATIAL BIOLOGY COMPANY
Akoya Biosciences offers end-to-end solutions for high-parameter tissue analysis from discovery through clinical and translational research. Timberline was engaged to assist Akoya Bioscience and their broker through an extensive site selection process. Timberline assisted the team in analyzing all the buildings from a cost, infrastructure, accessibility and timeline of construction perspective. Our team worked with the team to draft the lease work letters and are actively involved in the design process.
The fit-out encompasses office and collaboration space in addition to biologic and diagnostics labs and ISO 5 / ISO 7 clean rooms. The work included substantial upgrades to existing infrastructure to support lab and clean room uses as well as installation of fume hoods, lab benches, RO water system, vacuum system, lab gases and associated MEP/FP systems.
