LAB, FACTORY & OFFICE SPACE FOR A 3-D PRINTING TECH COMPANY

Inkbit uses technology to identify and correct mistakes during the 3-D printing process. As building printers is a core part of their business, Inkbit needed lab, factory and office space for their new location.

The relocation space they chose at One Cabot Road in Medford had originally been a typical office. Our team renovated the entire space to accommodate Inkbit’s needs, which was approximately 60% office and conference space and an addition of 40% lab and factory space.

This conversion required the installation of new rooftop units to serve the lab areas, along with appropriate new ductwork and fan-powered terminals to deliver air into the office areas. We installed a new exhaust for fume hoods along with k13 acoustical insulation on the exposed ceiling. All new lighting and power were supplied throughout the space along with lab casework.
