THIS EXPANDED LABORATORY FACILITY IS NURTURING THE NEXT GENERATION OF BIOTECH COMPANIES

Mansfield Bio-Incubator is a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate the creation, growth and success of the next generation of biotech companies. For this project, Timberline worked with Mansfield Bio-Incubator to expand their existing research and development facility with a modern, open-concept laboratory. The newly converted 17,000 SF facility contains a mix of private and shared laboratories. From a dedicated lab for one to a mid-sized lab that can accommodate a team of 12, the space offers flexible design capabilities for a variety of startups.

To meet the needs of new life science and technology tenants, our team outfitted the space with BSL-2 private laboratory suites along with private offices, conference rooms, huddle rooms and laboratory equipment. Hosting the same amenities as lab counterparts in congested downtown Boston and Cambridge, Mansfield Bio-Incubator will be a new catalyst for life science activity in the region.
