Century-old Mill Complex Converted Into Affordable Apartments

Union Mills 37 is a century-old mill complex located in Attleboro, MA. Timberline was brought on to restore and renovate the historic building into a stylish and affordable residential apartment community.

Prior to the start of the project, approximately 30% of the walls and roof on the 5th floor was ripped off in a storm. The project included reconstructing this section of the building while complimenting the existing historic façade with new materials under the guidance of historic consultants. The team skillfully retained historical elements of the building while completing 59 affordable housing units, lobby space, a community function room, common areas on each floor and a fitness center.

The project plays an important role in the revitalization of downtown Attleboro and provides high-quality affordable and workforce housing to residents and families.
