Karl Ginand, LEED AP

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Karl Ginand is a recognized expert in preconstruction and estimating. He has successfully led budgeting and strategic planning for millions of SF of ground-up, renovation and fit-out projects for leading science and technology, academic and commercial real estate clients.

As the Executive Vice President of Preconstruction & Estimating, he directs and manages the estimating team. His responsibilities encompass every facet of preconstruction, from developing conceptually accurate early budgets and providing strategic advice to maximize project value and execution. Karl’s unique ability to translate design intent into precise budget estimates has been instrumental in facilitating upfront decision-making for clients and design teams, ultimately leading to more efficient projects.

Prior to joining Timberline, Karl held senior leadership positions at prominent firms in the construction industry. In 2016 Karl joined Timberline and has been essential to multiple projects for notable clients including PUMA North America, Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives Planning Office for Urban Affairs, Charles River Labs and Cushing Academy. Karl’s wealth of experience, coupled with his dedication to delivering exceptional results, makes him an invaluable asset to Timberline.
